Erin Harper is an experienced school psychologist and a post-doctoral research associate at the Georgia State University Center for Research on School Safety, School Climate, and Classroom Management.

She will join the Educational Psychology faculty at Miami University as an Assistant Professor of School Psychology in the 2014-15 academic year. Her research interests include: culturally/contextually responsive health promotion and health risk prevention programming for African-American youth; school-based prevention of the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC); and using social media for health promotion.

During her “spare” time, she practices her stand-up comedy routines for a small network of people with questionable judgment.
