Dr. Erin Harper is a school psychologist, associate professor, and coordinator of the School Psychology program at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She has provided educational and psychological services in school and community settings for over 17 years. Erin’s research focuses on co-creating school-based and community-based systems of support with youth and families. Most of her research to date has focused on school-based prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) and collaboratively creating youth development programs with Black adolescent girls. 

Erin serves as an associate editor of School Psychology International. She is also a member of the Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation editorial board, the FearLess Dallas Board of Directors, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Outside of her academic work, Erin performs with the first and only all Black sketch comedy troupe in Dallas, FCC Presents. Her first comedic illustrated book for parents (not children!), Dear Mom, You Don’t Get to Have Nice Things, is available for purchase wherever books are sold.
